Terms of Service

By downloading or using Dusky, you agree to these Terms and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You must be 17 or older to use Dusky.

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You're responsible for all activity on your account.
• One account per person, unless you operate a verified organiser account.

You retain ownership of content you post. You grant Dusky a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content within the service. This licence ends when you delete the content (stories auto-delete after 5 days).

You promise that your content:

• Is yours to post, or you have all necessary rights.
• Doesn't violate our Community Guidelines.
• Doesn't infringe on anyone's rights or break any law.

• We operate AI moderation on uploads and a 2-report auto-hide system.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts at our sole discretion.
• Banned users may appeal via dusky.papp@gmail.com.

Organiser accounts require approval. Approved organisers get a verified marker and priority placement in search. They must comply with all applicable event-licensing laws.

• Posting illegal, harmful, or deceptive content.
• Impersonating others.
• Scraping or automated data collection without permission.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or exploiting the service.

Some features rely on third-party services (Supabase, OpenAI, Ticketmaster, Apple, Google). Their availability is outside our control.

The service is provided "as is". We make no warranty that events listed actually happen, that venues meet your expectations, or that people are who they say they are. Use judgement.

To the extent permitted by law, Dusky is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at the amount you've paid us in the prior 12 months (which, during beta, is zero).

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We can suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Guidelines.

We'll notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Disputes go to the courts of Zurich.
